Meet the Staff

Niki, Office Manager
Niki is in charge of all of the daily ins and outs of the office as well as accounts receivable/payable, patient, and staff management. Niki joined Central Park Dental in 2012. A graduate from Radford University, Niki has been in the dental field since 2001 and has worked both in North Carolina and Virginia. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Memi, Dental Receptionist
Memi joined Central Park Dental in 2007. You will see Memi at check in to help you with all of your appointments, insurance questions and any other dental needs.

Laura, Hygienist
Laura graduated from West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 1996. She has been with the practice since 2004. Laura enjoys walking her dogs, reading, boating, and motorcycle rides. She also loves working at Central Park Dental, where everyone is committed to making the patients’ comfort and care come first.

Mihoko, Hygienist
Originally from Japan, Mihoko has lived and traveled the world and feels like Central Park Dental and Fredericksburg are now her home. In 2006 she graduated from Germanna Dental Hygiene program and has been with us since 2007. She really loves getting to know her patients. In her free time, she enjoys being at home with a good book and a nice cup of tea.

Richard, Dental Assistant
Richard has been in the dental field since 1996. He graduated from Concorde Career Institute in California for dental assisting. He has been with Dr. Zavislak and Dr. Porter since 1998.

Melissa, Dental Assistant
Melissa started with the practice in 2007 as a front desk receptionist and then moved on to assisting Dr. Porter. You may see her cleaning the kids’ teeth, assisting Dr. Porter, or even helping out in the front.
